On July 20, 1969, mankind set foot on the Moon. Exceptional equipment was required to achieve this — including the Original Pilot sunglasses.
This limited edition pays tribute to space exploration from a unique perspective. Instead of looking toward space, imagine gazing at Earth from the Moon. The antiqued silver frame evokes the Moon’s rugged surface, while the SunFlash Dark Blue mineral mirror lenses recall the view of our “little blue dot” from space.
Available in very limited quantities (500 units worldwide).
Meticulously handcrafted in the United States.

Wear a Piece of History
1969
The Original Pilot, then known as the FG-58, became the first pair of sunglasses to land on the Moon, worn by the entire crew of Apollo 11. Each pair was included in the astronauts’ survival kits, designed to protect them in the event of a challenging landing upon their return to Earth. A pair from this historic lunar mission is now on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.
