How can we help you?
American Optical offers replacement nose pads and lenses (sold in pairs) for certain current collection frames, upon presentation of a proof of purchase.
Please note the following:
- Limited-edition frames are not eligible for replacement parts due to their exclusive nature.
- Frames manufactured before September 2020 are not supported, as current models use updated materials and tooling. Replacement parts, including lenses, are therefore not interchangeable with earlier versions.
For any request, you may contact us by email via the contact form.
We strongly recommend that any replacement work be carried out by our team or by a professional optician.
American Optical cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from personal repairs or unauthorized adjustments.
Polarized lenses feature a special filter that blocks reflected light, eliminating unwanted glare. This improves visual clarity and reduces eye strain.
However, in certain situations, polarized lenses are not recommended.
Polarization can make LCD screens harder to read and is generally not advised for pilots.
All American Optical frames are handcrafted in our Chicago factory using the finest materials carefully sourced from around the world.
Our lenses come from top international manufacturers and are cut and fitted in our Chicago facility.
American Optical offers a lifetime warranty on defective solder joints resulting from a manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including lens scratches, damage, or breakage caused by use or improper handling.*
This warranty applies only to American Optical eyewear purchased from authorized retailers and is valid for the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase (invoice) must be provided for any warranty claim or for requests involving replacement parts (nose pads and lenses).
*Valid for all new products manufactured and sold from 09/01/2020 onward.
It is entirely possible to have our frames fitted with your prescription.
You can either order the frame you want directly on www.aoeyewear.fr and then visit your optician to have your lenses fitted, or simply go to the optician of your choice, who will be able to provide you with the American Optical model you want quickly and easily.
